BGP Policies

The following serves to describe Bat Blue's client BGP routing policies for Autonomous System 25885:
  • Bat Blue supports BGP for IPv4 and IPv6.

  • Bat Blue enforces strict BGP prefix filtering for clients and peers. Routing prefix filtering decisions are made based on:
    • IRRD Route Arbiter Database
    • Letter of Authority from the ARIN Netblock owner

  • Bat Blue blocks all route prefixes that meet the following standards:
    • RFC-1918
    • Martians / Bogons as per Cymru Database

  • Bat Blue supports the following optional configurations upon client request only. These include:
    • Support for Multi-exit Descriminator (MEDs)
    • Graceful Route-Engine Restart (GRER)
